mushroom flashback, kinda

it was all foggy this morning, in seattle, and i was driving past sea-tac toward the 5, uphill, and in the fog, it was a blue-grey color all around... but as i came up the hill, it got all bright and yellow almost instantly, it was a real trip, cause for about 5 seconds it felt like i was trippin...

it reminded me of this time in the forest that i was walking on this dirt road, and the dirt was green one second, then purple on closer inspection.. not green like green, but a green tint, same with purple. that was on the very onset of a spectacular mushroom trip (we ate, walked down the road maybe a hundered yards, and then halfway back we were feelin it)... we were in this badass cove too.... but that's a whole different story

another time i had this mushroom flashback i was jammin some :gd_icon: and for a split second, i just looked up and was like "woah"

never had acid, so i know it's the mushroom effect. i think it's not so much a flashback, more the ability to reconize the mindset after going through it.

so yea, lets hear some flashback stories

i went to see dredg a few days (or a day?) after doing some LSA.... I looked up at the ceilling and it moved with the movements of my eyes in a negative hued aura.... purple....

like imagine you see tracers, but the tracers are generally purple colored... except you see tracers on the whole ceilling of the place because your eyes are moving a bit and the subtle movements are creating the effect.

the movement is rather bulky as opposed to fluid, say a half second delay effect.

that's what lsa does to me.... i still see such things fairly regularly at times..... it's not really anything cool or too trippy but its kind of neat.

if i gaze into ... anything... i see similar such oddities.... people's faces will melt and look goofy as hell... (in fact the face melting in peripheral gaze came to be after doing weed a long long time ago)

I ate about 4 ounces of mushrooms over a long while before trying any other psychedelics. I got flashbacks all the time then, since starting LSD and E, the flashbacks get more intense, vivid and long lasting. I dig it, reminds me of the great times I've had on various substances.

most of my flashbacks about kinda freaky... like I see something out of the corner of my eye and there's nothing there. And mad tracers and flashing lights when I'm getting a little spacey from being tired or working to much.

What happens to me is ill see somthing, or somthing will happen that will make me associate with a part of a trip. Then i can get into that mindset for a second.

Happens when im stoned out of mind more.

yeah, the flashbacks always bring back the mindset of tripping for a moment. Then I snap out of it and enjoy the reminder

There's this record store in Seattle on capitol hill near like 14th & Pike (or is it pine?) called Respect Records. It's stupendous. The fog stretched down to Olympia today too, it hung around all day, which was awesome. combined with the yellow/redding leaves it was a very surreal day.
