Cats....I love cats.....they are spiritual creatures.....

Say hello to April....she is one of the three cats that lives with me....

She's very prissy and kind of mean (hates other cats and doesn't like to be messed with most of the time)...but every so often she is very sweet....



What do you like about cats?
I like to compare humans and cats a lot.
I think it's cool how cats seem to sense your emotions sometimes and now when to come and lay on your lap or tummy and be all affectionate.

I have always had cats. I think there are very aware of things unseen by humans. Have you ever seen your cat just stare off into space and then watch it watch something walk or float by ? Creepy

I also wonder if cats or dogs are spiritual creatures ? Do you think the reason they are our close compainons for a reason ? Maybe God is in them and that is why they love us to damn much.

I have also had cats my whole life.

Yeah I like that a lot...how they stare off..I don't see it as being creepy though..I see it more as them being enlightened and enjoying the beauty.....

I also like when they lay in the weirdest spots sometimes.....seeing them do that makes me think about how I should always try to see something from all possible angels.

Bastet (Bast), cat goddess of ancient Egypt (don't know which Kingdom) was so important to the Egyptians that the death penalty was upon anyone who killed a cat. I feed feral cats that take up residence in my yard - for years sometimes. Flea spray, wormer and antibiotics sometimes. Burial sometimes. I am not a big cat lover, but I'll save drowning insects, snakes, and rats, whatever. My Lady's daughter and I swear to this day that the last time we bought take out chicken lo mein...well, never mind, cat lovers hate this supposition.

I have a goat and 5 cats and 2 dogs and a horse...animals are neat

I dont like the goat, horse, 1of2 dogs, and 3of5 cats tho...

The rest are sweet!

I believe all living things are spiritual creatures, not just cats (although I love my kittes!). 

I think they are all spirit, they are just in different forms.

It was pretty weird for me to accept spiders as spiritual beings.  But they have communicated to me before. 

And a moth I saw once while tripping made my night...very awesome moth. 

At my job, it's like I'm looking at little yapping gods all the time.  Who need their nails trimmed. 

And kitties...like dogs...they are domesticated and willingly live with us so we tend to see the spiritual more in them.  (because we can handle and love them) 

Animals are very precious.  They can teach us so much about ourselves I think.  :heart:

I agree about all being spiritual creatures and them being able to teach us things about ourselves.

Here is Twiggy...she's kinda delicate....we found her starving about a year ago and helped her out....she shys away a little bit when you try to pet her head....she's sweet though....when she comes to sit on you she kneads for like 5 minutes first...its almost like a massage.

And here is Tony....also a stray we found starving awhile back.....he was really scared to have his picture taken.....running around the house...it was crazy...notice how his tail is a little puffed up? he actually hit his head on the stool he's under when the camera flashed. he's weird cat.

My cat is quite special. I like all animals but some more than others. My cat is in the top 1% of animals I have met.

He is a constant source of entertainment, companionship and love.

He must be smart. Who pays for the house, the food, the cat litter?

Cats are great . People say dogs are mans best friend , when I am sad, my dog dont give a shit , it just lays there and looks at me from the foot of the couch , if I get up to get some food from kitchen it follows me and is oh so happy , if I give it food , it eats it in a few seconds, as soon as I leave kitchen, its like I dont exist, my cats ... They just want to be around me to be around me, not because I give them food . They are free spirits , but have a great deal of warmth in their hearts -Tranceharper

I love cats, they can be very affectionate.

However, dogs are the same way. They can sense emotions (more so than cats IMHO) very well. So I guess I'm just saying I'm more of a dog person. :thumbup:

Its funny though, everytime I come home from class at night, my neighbor's cat comes out and runs to my driveway to visit me. We end up playing in the road for a little while. She's a sweet little thing. :smile:
