it's pretty cool, seems too "plain" to me though.. but if you were going for that simple look, it's good.

just click open and select your picture. then cut out the part u want using the lasso tool. Drag it over from that image to the one your working on (make a new layer) place where uw ant drop the opacity and do the swirl thing i forget what tool that is

Ok, I'm not trying to be harsh here but this looks exactly like all the junk I made when I first started using Photoshop.
If you're just making some stuff to amuse yourself, that's fine... but if you ever want to be taken seriously with Photoshop, don't use the Twirl filter. In fact, try not to use any filters.

Here's a brief primer on how to start doing cool stuff:

Open a cool photograph in Photoshop ( try http://www.sxc.hu for nice photographs)
Make a new layer.
Paint with some different brush shapes.
Make new layers, paint more. Double-click on each layer: this will open the layer blending menu. Play with the settings and opacity here. You can make some very cool effects with this.

Also you can paste another photo on top of that photo, erase a portion of the new photo so parts of the other show through (again tweak layer blending options). Peace and good luck!

Yeah stay away from filters whenever possible, they're so easy to spot once you know the ins and outs of photoshop and are a definite sign of n00bness. Everybody starts off using them, I'm just glad I got that step out of my system over 10 years ago...

Actually I take that back, the one filter you'll want to use is Unsharp Mask for putting the finishing touches photos. In camera sharpness sucks a butt so its best to do it in PS, but you probably aren't using CameraRAW/shooting RAW files to begin with.

I'd use a P2P program like Kazaa or bit torrent or something along those lines.
