Using rice cakes... Anybody tried it?

I've got some pure organic rice cakes, left by my insane health-nut ex-roommate... I either can try to use 'em for shrooms, or chuck 'em (What you mean, eat them?!?!).

All I've got are some wonderful syringes right now to innoculate with... suggestions on how much or the treatment of them?

find a way to add some moisture to the nasty cakes(trust me they are not that good) and then sterilize them and add a few drops of spores. What the heel if it works great if not o'well you wasted a drop or two of a syringe
