Rice Cakes with Millet??

Hey Folks,
Just recieved a nice spore syringe and was going to the local health food store to pick up some Brown Rice Flour (organic of course) and some organic Millet seed also, and had an idea....
I am seriosuly considering adding a portion of millet to my rice cakes. I figure if P. Cubensis enjoys millet in bird seed, then it would provide added nutrients to the rice cakes and allow them to fruit more prolifically both as cakes and when cased (will try both).
I am going to add 1 part Millet to 2 parts BRF, and the regular vermiculite.
So my questions: Has anyone done this before? Is this a bad idea? How much will I have to vary the H2O in the mix? Do I have to pretreat the Millet? Will the BRF and Millet have such different colonization rates that it will hurt the cakes? Will this mix do to case? Do you think it will hold together as cakes?
Thanks, I think this could be cool. I just figure the more nutrients available the better.

apparently millet harbours more contams, so long as you've got a pressure thingamy I'm sure it'd be cool,
I don't know wat other people think but if you are going to the trouble of steralising millet why not use just millet?
still could be an interesting experiment

i agree too. need correct sterilization procedure, so why dont you just use millet? if the answer is 'i hate casings, i loooove cakes' then take the millet, put it in a mixer/blender with a blade and smash it. use the millet-flour in your cakes as if it was brf i have made rye-flour from rye-grains when i couldnt found brf and it worked okee
