Why thank you. Poodles taste great in stew.

Really though, what did you mean by that statement? If I had an entheogenic dose would I be able to see how people who poop in each other's mouths are unraveling their souls?

Enlighten me, seeing as how everyone here is stupid and so lowly compared to you.

This is where the Teacher leaves the Student to ponder. I can be condescending in a constructive yet provoking way. To tell you what the entheogenic experience is, would be to ruin your experience before you had it.

Look - I'm just asking that the content on this site be at least somewhat peacable to adults and young adults (both those who enjoy crude behavior and those who WOULD BE MAJORLY TURNED OFF BY poodle poop sex

The content of this site, especially the content that has you this riled up, is contained behind what is probably the strongest worded disclaimer possible.

This is why we have TWO SOCIAL FORUMS.

You have no argument, and IMO, all the participants in this thread need to bite their tongue and wait for the backlash.
Bad form people.

Enter is making a common mistake...he's assuming that there is one common truth that a solid entheogenic dose will show to everyone...no matter what though, we receive everything through our individual filters..

Ah, okay. Maybe those "peacable" adults and young adults should learn to read the summary of OTD before entering, which has, in bold text no less:

This forum contains content that some will find offensive.

Sorry, you're right RC. 'Tis no place to have an argument.

No need to get that aggressive. I can be condescending to no end, but in this instance I am only giving you back what your sending me. Am I not right in saying that you're attitude is one of sarcasm and mockery? Indeed, these two words amply describe all of you jaded souls in OTD. Many of you seem to have tasted so much vanity and cosmic mockery that you have convinced yourself the only way to bring balance to the SELF-mockery is to release mockery to all others around you.

Good evening, OneMoreRobot.
You make a valid point and one that I agree with. I will add this though: The entheogenic experience is a universal experience - meaning we can all call it one thing because one primary teaching stands out above all others.

Re: This site cannot tolerate this type of behavior... [Re: World Spirit]

Nope. OTD is a release from the braindead idiots which wonder around on the surface of the planet. We choose to speak in mock hate, just like pubbers choose to speak in mock love.

Two sides of the same coin, opposing yes, but still parts of the same thing.

By the way, I mock because you make unfounded claims that no-one here has had an entheogenic experience. If the experience made us all the same and completely understanding of each other, then we would be mindless drones. Remember, people are different, and will forever express themselves differently, regardless of whatever life experiences they have had.

If we were all the same, t'would be a boring place, no?

One more thing:

The entheogenic experience itself may be a universal thing, but there are infinitely many paths to reach it, and not all are through drugs. Each path will give each person a different outlook on what they have recieved, resulting in different thoughts, and different beliefs. Is Daoism any less valid of a way to reach the great world spirit than Buddhism? No, the end is the same, but the paths are quite different.

Well, yes - you make good points there. I believe that we all have an individual perspective, and that's important to all of us I think. Artist Alex Grey has a painting called "Collective Vision" in which the same bright light can be seen by millions of people but each person has a slightly different angle on the light. I agree with this to some extent.

I like what you said about "mock love." I understand you, perhaps, better because you said this. That is unusually blunt and seemingly honest. But with all that said, can't you come to the side that says, "If I have to be mocked knowing that all this is vain, why not choose mock lovin' instead of mock hatred."?

Mock isn't the right word. Its not real love, as in "I want to spend the rest of my life with you and raise several children between us." Perhaps like and dislike are better terms.

I did not mean any negative connotation with that statement, but couldn't think of any way to state "not fully" without it.

If you believe in loving everyone, then love us for wanting not to love.

"I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it."

Just lighten up. Condemning everyone with a blanket statement without trying to understand them is just as unenlightened as you are accusing us of being. There will be no end to what you have to learn in life, you are never done, and you should never think that you are any better than others because of what you have learned. Because, in the whole view of things, the difference between what you have learned and what others have learned is so small to be insignificant. We humans have so far to go to get anywhere.

There's a comment Vampire made a few weeks ago that I thought was so true, I'm paraphrasing until I can find it

Quote:
quote by vampire999  "Imaging if you would the fate of marijuana legalization falling into the hands of this website.

Say we got to go to court once to attempt to plead the case. One of the largest arguments.. or at least should be. If the fact that marijuana remains illegal because people, whether from years of thinking like this, or religion, or whatever else. Are morally opposed to the usage of it.

Now after we are done pleading this case they decided to take a look at the way we handle ourselves and find that we are guilty of the exact same thing.

Are argument would be what? "Well its totally different." Well that would get us really far considering thats one of the largest arguments as to why cigarettes, alcohol, pharmaceuticals are legal and others not.

Its the same pseudo hippyism that driven me nuts for years.

Live by example. "Well its not the same" makes you just as guilty as the people that take our rights away.. no mater WHAT subject your talking about."

It was a discussion over so called 'child porn' where naked teen picture was posted in a totally non-sexual way, just the fact it was a naked teen upset some people.

Anyway, we shouldnt force people to be a certain way, we should allow people to have a home and OTD/PUB are choices. Its like I wouldnt walk into a death metal bar and go around yelling at the patrons telling them they should be playing different music.

The Shroomery is in the eye of the beholder, you chose to see what you want, and I'd rather the world see a community full of debate and wide-ranging ideas that has a healthy lively debate.

Anyhow, I just hate the words "can't tolerate this behavior" because if Bush said that about something people were doing they'd flip out cause how dare he tell us how to live

Unlawful? In what jurisdiction? The "Enter Thunderdome of Justice"?

Why isn't this guy banned for flaming in WA&F?

I don't understand left-o tolerants that become rabid facist intolerants to anything they don't understand.

The rules of OTD are posted at the top of the forum. As long as you can read these, I think the 'enlightened' thing to do would be to respect people's rights in relation to them, not to judge them or put yourself on a pedestal because you do not want to accept that portion of reality.
