Is the Site Bugged?

Hey guys i'm just postin this as a heads up for all of you and for my own peace of my mind. I have a firewall runnin on my comp and almost everytime i visit the site it blocks an attempted intrustion onto my computer. I'm wonderin if the site might be bugged and if someone is tryin to monitor us. Lemme know what you think

The scripts running on this site try to ping your machine on a specific few ports before they send you any data. I just dealt with this on my own firewall, and it was a head-scratcher for a while. I imagine this is some sort of security precaution on the part of the shroomery admins, but I'll be damned if I know what it accomplishes.

This was posted on 3/3, at that time I never saw port scans.
1st time on site since 3/5 and:



Is this something to do with the site trying to protect itself or?

It's just a cookie. Manufacturers of home firewalls configure their system to default to the most sensitive and verbose mode so when the consumer plugs it in, it immediately shows an impressive functionality.
