this time last year an independant organization estimated 100,000 iraqi deaths. At the time, it was admitted that it was likely a little over twice that. About a quarter million, and a lot has happened since then.

The current death rate in Iraq is 45 per 100,000 population. The Death Rate under Sadaam averaged over 100/100,000. Iraq today is over twice as safe than under Sadaam.

The Death Rate in Washington DC is comparable to that in Iraq. In the 1990's it ranged from 46.4 to 80.6 per 100,000.

I demand that we pull out of Washington immediately.

the figures they are working with are obviously wrong. like ive been saying it was about 100,000-a quarter million+ A WHILE ago. and a lot has happened since. those numbers are nowhere close to reality. I also doubt that those account for the actual rate of things as sadaam was there for quite some time and the US has almost if not matched/exceeded him in FAR less time.

I think it is very significant that the sunni leadership is now onboard with the shiites and the major influential cleric, al-sistani, is backing it as well. This is very good and unexpected news. The sunni headquarters was also attacked and it is only a matter of time before all iraqis realize the true goals of the foriegn muslim fighters.

I for one being an American and by default and without remorse an Imperialist think that in a world that is natural, death and fighting comes with the territory. The terrirtory of life. Jesus Christ made a promising thread on the future of Iraq, which in turn would help our soldiers come home. It isn't surprising he is met with those who were against the war, and as such find themselves rooting for the insurgents and an iraqi civil war so THEY can be the ones to say, "see it wasn't a good idea".

Just imagine if this turns out good. What would their entire philosophy mean then? War solves problems!?! OMG IT CAN'T BE!!!

Yeah, I can't believe people are claiming respect for people who materialize out of the shadows and kill civilians and soldiers alike. Where is the honor in the method they employ? When we beat the british they knew exactly who we was. We didn't fight the war like abunch of scared bitches, hiding behind the garment of the uninvolved. We suited up with our guns and our armour and we went to war. Fuck the insurgents.

It will work. For a time there will be strife. For a time there will be sorrow, but when the dust settles a better place will emerge. From the ruins of a shelled out realm will arise a democracy where people have control over their destinies.

I for one knowing full well the motivation for this war hope in my heart of hearts that The U.S administration will not cease until a stable and elected republic stands in the Holy Land!

the soldiers wont return home once the ideology of aggressive warfare has been vindicated.. they will simply be sent off to another war..and another..and another...furthermore..the constitution itself is not so much a blueprint for democracy as it is for handing their oil to US corporations on a silver platter...yes..it is a solid victory for neocons..but not for US soldiers who will be killed and injured in more adventures...
