Before you do anything that requires sterility, take a long hot shower with anti bacterial soap. Wear fresh clothes out of the hot drier. Before and during the sterile work, clean your hands and lower arms with alcohol. Do that between inoculations, and transfers. Never touch anything that is not sterile during the sterile work, of you do sterilize your hands with alcohol.

It is allot cheaper and easier to do things right the first time.  :thumbup:

start with PF tek. then go to bulk substrates, as they produce more fruits for less work.

Well guys...the contest is over...due to my computer crashing from a virus and me losing my direcpc...ill have to rate you guys and choose 2 winners tommorow...i was also thinking of choosing 10 pieces of advice and doing a poll and letting the community vote on the best 2 pieces of advice, that way it is somewhat fair :wink:  There was alot of great advice in this thread and im glad you guys had fun participating in it...anyways...you guys will hear from me tommorow :wink:  Goodnight

It's funny, my wife is sitting next to me and I point out your pics and say to her - "Holy shit, look at those" - she looks and says - "Oh yeah they have the same plates as us!"...lol.
