If you're a newbie and are going to do PF Jars, get 2 dozen half pints. With the 2nd dozen, do some invitro jars so you will have pretty assuredly have some fruits even if you mess up on the cakes/casings.

Use liquid culture to inoculate 10 grain spawn master quart jars, use those ten to spawn 100 jars (g2g), then spawn all the pasteurized horse manure compost you can stand. :grin:

And make an outdoor azure bed asap.

Learn early on that patience truly is a virtue.

Each and everytime you handle a colonizing jar you up the risk of it contaminating. Leave it be and let it do its thing.

Psychoslut, i think a bunch of liq culture is better than doing g2g, seems to be less contam risk. you just need a lot of liq culture.

One piece of advise I have if you are using a syringe for inoculations.

SHAKE that syringe very well before you start and SHAKE again between inoculations to disperse the spores.

When you get some experience under you're belt, (and a flowhood :grin:

) you will be able to use more advanced techniques without the contam worries. Everybody gets contams, but when you learn to know what causes them, and how to prevent them, you can relax and not worry about it so much.

G2G is something I like, for some reason it thrills me to expand my spawn mass in this way, if you like lc, more power to ya. :thumbup:

yeah...i did g2g about 2 weeks ago...i believe i used a contamed jar cause that stuff got those jars green fast

When you want to trigger pinning, you can't give them enough fresh air exchange. Talk to your mushrooms, treat them as if they were people. I having music playing for them almost all the time. Sometimes I even do a little dance for them (just a me thing). :peace:

My best peice of advise would be to go to your local chem lab store and get Tryptamine hcl and follow the tek on the Gartz Tryptamine Technique. This shit really works!!! I don't know if it will affect me in the long run to use this stuff, but my mushrooms had a power unlike any other. Super potent.

Here's my advice. If you're going to get into this hobby, Don't tell ANYONE.

You don't know how hard it is for me to listen to peeps talk about growing shrooms. I've heard peeps say all you have to do is sprinkle spores on a sponge and put it in your basement. I just bite my tongue and play the fool,lol.
