Bad substrate, or bad steps?

OK.. Long and detailed, urgent because I'm doing more tonight.

Using birdseed.. ingredients, in order: Canary Grass Seed, White Millet, Oat Groats, Mineral Oil.
Steeped overnight, boiled for 45min, rinsed, p/c for 1 hour in (7) 1 quart jars. Used 2 MM Filter Discs on each.
Syringe purchased, not self-made. Innoculated via oven tek. 2cc per jar. Incubated in dark area, regular room humidity(30%), 75 degrees, 2 months.

1 jar had green contams within 2 weeks. 2 other jars started to show green contams within 4 weeks. Remainder of jars have yet to show any mycel growth. Birdseed seems to have a white, jelly-like substance throughout, seems to have come from within the seeds. Threw out, is indeed gel-like, non mycellium.

Is this jelly normal? Was the syringe bad? Should I use a different birdseed? Did I do something wrong without realizing? Please, please, PLEASE help!

Did you use a pressure cooker?
I would like to see quite a bit of verm in that mix after steeping and cooking, to soak up extra moiture.
2cc per jar will add alot of moisture to a jar especially on the bottom without verm ect to absorb it..
75degrees 2 months? birdseed colonizes very fast half that time even at a low 75.....
mineral oil may be the jel-like substance try using a wild bird mix from walmart, it has less bird kote and sunflower seeds in it..... ...
