Thanks   She really is adorable...even if she is a little terror and chews on everything in sight

She's only had one minor accident in the house so far, and has been awesome about going outside   Haven't gotten much sleep over the past 2 nights, but she's worth it

Nice looking dog you have there.  Good choice, too; yellow labs are great pets.

Yeah everyone I know who has had a lab says they are wonderful.  Hopefully we get her chewing issue under control soon...she lunged for, and JUST missed biting suffer's nipple ring earlier.  That was a close one

German Shepards and Golden Retrievers are 2 very different dogs in terms of personality.  The german shepards I've known have always wanted to be on the move - extremely active and athletic.  Goldens are more chill and lazy.  They don't mind just sitting around hanging out with you.  I like labs because they're a good miz of both...they like being outside but they're also mellow enough to just cuddle with you and watch a movie sometimes

She is cute. My husband and I are looking at dogs on the internet now. I'll have to check out those ridgebacks you mentioned earlier.

Be sure to train her not to bite things like that. It won't be so cute when she's all grown up.

I've been wanting a Huskie or a Malamute for quite some time now.

I wonder where I can find some breeders.

That's precious. I'd probably end up spoiling it ad neauseam, like I do with my Misha.

Give Lucy a big wet kiss for me.

I kiss my dog on her lips. Anybody else do this?

Thats one cute puppy. She'll be a beautiful lab when she's full grown! Expect plenty of messes and chewed up items for the first little while, thats just all part of having a puppy. But a well trained dog will be no trouble as they get older. And labs are smart, it doesn't take too much effort to train them.

I had a chocolate lab and when he was about that size I was playing with him and he nipped me right on the end of my nose. Anyone who has experience with puppies knows how sharp puppy teeth are. He tore a chunk out of the tip of my nose and I bled like I'd been stabbed in a major artery!! It was pretty funny, totally not the dogs fault. I looked silly for a couple weeks with a big scab on my nose!

I kiss her on the lips all the time   She's such a sweetie, she's sleeping on my chest right now.

Her teeth are wicked sharp.  She only play bites, but it can hurt if she catches a small piece of skin.  We're doing out best to train her to bite her chew toys instead, and discourage her from biting us.  It will take some time though, she's only 10 weeks old, so this is all very new to her.  I'm glad we picked out the dog we did, she seems like she's going to be a perfect fit in our little family for a long time to come.
