Thank You Delta Airlines

I left Portland this morning on a 10:00 flight to Cincinnati where I would catch my connection into NYC. Well it's been a long week of traveling, long nights of drinking with some of the most hard nosed red necks in my business! Great people but by today I was hurting a bit...... :grin:

So my flight from Cincinnati to NY is delayed, I eat dinner alone at the airport and I'm really feeling like shit by the time we board the plane at 8:00 PM. I'm uncomfortable, tired, and hung over!

So we get into the air and I plug in my headphones and I hear the first notes of "Uncle John's Band"......not bad but It got better, the whole American Beauty album was played!

I couldn't believe my luck, by the time Trucking was winding around to the lyric

"Truckin', I'm a goin' home. Whoa whoa baby, back where I belong,
Back home, sit down and patch my bones, and get back truckin' on."

We were over the city and I was almost home :grin:

Sometimes things just work out!

That happens to me frequently.. songs will just sync up with reality perfectly.

Hey you should have visited me in cinci...I live 20 mins from the airport...Thats funny I fly about every weekend to portland to my place in WA but I did not this week.

Next time your stuck let me know Ill show up.
