I believe you are referring to McKenna's True Hallucinations, although there is also a bit in the MMGG about 5 grams in the dark. Yes, I believe that unless you have some crazy tolerance, 5 grams of cubensis should get you where you need to go, especially in the dark. I have never had a whole trip in the dark, but tend to seek out a dark room at least once in a trip. My senses then readjust to this dark dimension and I experience things differently, fer sure. :peace:

did it last night. had a great time, and saw some very interesting and complex hallucinations. even though i did not stay in the dark the entire length of my trip, i can definatly see where those of you who tryed this in the dark were coming from. i had never seen such complex 3d visuals in my life. this will be probably one of the funnest experiences in my life. id recomend this to anybody who can handle high doses. i also noticed that i seemed to be more "calm" while in the dark. i diddnt have a single thought of a bad trip or of having an uncomfortable experience, when i was in the pitch black. again, i highly recomend this!
