Damn. Good luck wih that. Do you get to use cadavers? I'm thinking botany and plant genetics. Although I always just want to get a PAC to fall back on.

m00nshine is currently vacationing in Maui. Rumor has it he got rolled by drunken natives and is currently prostituting himself in order to pay for airfare back to the mainland but he's having trouble juggling a hairon addiction. He won't be back for a long while.

Congrats!!

I'm currently a Business Management dropout  :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: but I plan on  taking some bio and molecular bio classes.  Some of that molecular bio is pretty intense, and really requires some concentration, especially when it comes to organic chem and the such.

I congratulate you once again, and good luck with your degree!  God knows I envy you  :smile:

I have always known mad scientist was just inate for me. Plus I love bio. Its weird though I'm working on this huge genetic research project. weird stuff.

And damn, license to chill, I like massages...that's a sweet profession. Very independent, relaxed, and lots of naked bodies. Plus, who doesn't want to be rubbed down?

Yea, quite the easy class as well. Incredibly relaxed, don't even have to wear shoes.

Plus, its about $55 here an hour for a starting therapist. Up to $80 an hour for more expirienced ones.

Came off as if I only cared about the money. But, I'm just happy that I get to do what I enjoy for a career, while making a wee bit of spending cash.

Yeah, but then I think most knowledge is exploited, twisted and used for evil or less than honorable applications. When I think about Einstein and the Abomb, I feel kinda dirty.

thats actually something i could see myself doing. is it a pretty solid profession?

Generally its about a year course if you go to a private school or a trade school. Universities will cost you more and will take about 2 years.

Right now, mine is 11 months and for total costs, including my table and books, its around $6100.

Its a pretty solid profession. A lot of day-spas are always looking for therapists or you could just build up your list of clients. Thats another thing we're learning in class...is how to gain customers and get a job.

But, this is a profession where you can take anywhere.
