Answers:

Q#1: it actualy doesnt give off any odor at all, im surprised this strain of plant turned ou to be odorless... inside the box i dont smell a thing, the only time i can smell it is when i put my nose right on the nugg... it smells very sweet and skunky....

Q#2: both of these plants are only 33 days old, they arent your normal sized plant. And also i have them under very weak lighting... I'm about 11,000 lumens short of a good "basic" system. This is just an experiment to see how much the plant will produce when budded early... they grew up extremely fast and are quite mature for their age.

Q#3: im using Eleanors VF-11, i put some in a water bottle for foliar feeding once a week. And i give it a little mixed solution with watering every 2 weeks. The soil for the first plant is composted horse manure, and the soil for the other is just your basic gardening mix with perlite added.

This whole setup cost me spare pocket cash during my job days, and these plants will probably produce a small head stash of some fairly good nuggets.

I hope you guys like the pix, ill post more in the next week.

I'm gonna be trying out a small flouro grow soon...I'm new to weed and I don't wanna shell out lots of cash yet...I'd rather get my feet wet with an easy cheap method like this...plus I don't have the space for anything big right now...if all I get outta it is lots of clones for next grow season I'll be happy...I take it thats just a standard flourescent?

its just a coiled flouro, 25W, that puts out 1,750 lumens. VERY little amount. The cool white tube is a greenhouse bulb, and im not sure of the lumens but it seems to be working great as a side light. Since i trimmed the plants, the trichomes have been producing in greater numbers, as well as getting denser themselves. The buds are really sucking alot of the soil nutrients right now, and they are growing rather quick with such inadequate lighting.

Hey SoD, I'd try and rig a cheap reflector for the cfl to reflect the light you're losing from the top of the bulb. I use a soda/beer can on my 42w cfl, I just hacked the two ends off, sliced down the middle and taped it to the ballast of the light.

i had metal cones... they didnt work as good as the regular flouro does.

Thats because with that type of reflector the end of the bulb is facing down. That is the area of the bulb with the weakest amount of light. With the poor mans reflector, the light is sitting horizontal, like you have it setup now.

Here are some of my fluoro units.

First, top part of a double decker, 20 - 2ft fluoros in each level. 340 watts each.





Next, single decker with 16 4ft tubes, for 512w.



Finally, stealth cab w/ 269w cfl, and DWC.

Just harvested last night, sorry no harvest pics... they didnt get much bigger, just matured and got extra chrystaly... well I got about 2 grams off of both of them... as soon as I do a test smoke ill get back to you with the end of experiment report...

the one that has the short dense buds, smells like peaches and skunk... I hope it tastes good... The one with long aerated buds smells like dirty socks and SHWAG, but looks pretty potent.

First time I grew was with two 105watt flouro's, they looked alot like yours except I got about 5 grams from them. never got bigger then a foot and a half.


also, what is topping a plant? I have one in my backyard thats about to bud I think and I would like the biggest yield possible thankyou.

but for outdoor plants I wouldn't top, you can practice tying down your plant, that would be even more effective...

Try tying your plant down with a heavy object like a brick... Check out overgrow they will tell you how to do it all...
