My snakes are hatching

About time. I've got a clutch of black snake eggs I've been incubating all summer. Just went down to check on them and four have hatched already. I took a short video clip and a few pics. I'll post them after they've all finished hatching. Quality isn't that great, I'm taking them all with a webcam.

Black snakes. I think they're also known as black racers etc... Should have videos later today.

I got a house in the country where I only go for hunting, do you think a couple snakes would help in reducing mouse population? I mean, if i trow a couple of them in the house and they find food they shouldn?t want to leave, I don?t even sleep there so I won?t care of having a couple of non-poison snakes around.

I love snakes. I've got 4 corn snakes. I prefer those because they are very calm, and have only bitten me once. I don't mate them because four of them is enough.

arent black racers notoriously hard to catch, hence the name?  Hope to god they dont get loose in your house :wink:

How do you know a couple snakes dont already live there?


BTW awesome isnt it? We had 5 babby leopard geckos hatch this year and 6 bearded dragons. Its amazing!

well I don?t know if any snake but i see many mouses, small grey ones, don?t care much about them , but i though snakes would do an "ecological" anti-mice shit
