Running into colinization problems

First off I would like to start by saying sporeworks is a great all
around spore supplier! I have got all three orders within 4 days and
as far as I know the syringes are great.... but back to my problem!
(I'm a new b by the way)

I bought spores and downloaded the m.m.g.g. I'm pretty sure I
followed all the steps right but when it comes time for the jars to
colonize it takes like a month or so. I have absolutely no clue why
this is but by the time they are ready to be taken out the cake
seems to have dried up. I know its cold in my basement but I'm
pretty sure it's not that cold (probably 65-70)! What else could I be
doing wrong or is it the temp that's slowing me down? (Oh yeah.... I
did try getting raising the temp but there really wasn't that much of
a difference)

If you could help me out here I would really appreciate it because I
haven't got one mushroom out of syringes! (Doesn't seem to b
paying off)

the two big thing that effect the rate of grow are temp and o2.
I had build a cheep incubator that holds my jars at 85 degrees they like that. and i would losen the lids on your lars to get some fresh air. this only works if you put the lids on upside down.

I ordered spores from sporeworks exactly 7 days ago, and haven't heard anything. The order was sent on thanksgiving day, maybe that is making things take a bit longer. Hope so.
