WBS soaking times

afoaf is soaking about 18lbs of wbs. should he soak it longer..say 36-48hours? since its 18LBS?

also he keeps having trouble with his humidity, he has a cheap sterlite 28QT FC, a tropic aire, and 2inches of perlite with an inch of water. his gauge says 80%. how come its not at 90? or 100? why so low, its on a window sill, is the sunlight "Drying" it out to much?

Direct sunlight can over-heat an incubator / fruiting chamber.
Your RH gauge may not be reading correctly.

24 hours is enough for a soak - take your fruiting chamber out of direct sunlight and window. You can try adding some more perlite and water to the chamber.
