Good luck man. Personally I would be straight forward with the boss. Most people can see through bullshit stories. Just tell him it was your birthday and your friends insisted you went out with them. Make sure to stress that you would normally never do something like this and how sorry you are. Sometimes it is best to be straight forward with people, it shows integrity and respect, however I don't know your boss.


edit: Make sure to show up an hour early and complete some work before anybody else gets there.

m00nshine is currently vacationing in Maui. Rumor has it he got rolled by drunken natives and is currently prostituting himself in order to pay for airfare back to the mainland but he's having trouble juggling a hairon addiction. He won't be back for a long while.

Well if anyone's curious, it went way better than I could have even imagined. Boss pretty much just said don't let it happen again and we went on with our day.

The funniest thing happened at work too. We saw an OSHA guy (Safety patrol) coming into the neighborhood we were working on, and my boss just decides he doesn't want to deal with him, so we get off the roof, drop our truck, and just lock ourselves in the back of our supply truck until he leaves. Fucking hilarious.
