Central Nervous system

Hey guys, I just got a few concerns I thought should be made known.
1. I seem to have this popping feeling in my neck that hurts alot for a few seconds and makes the entire right side of my face go numb for less than a second.
2. What sort of suppliments are good for keeping the Central nervous system healthy.?
3. What should I stay away from to keep my CNS healthy?

My neighbor's little sister has a problem with her CNS unfortunately there is no cure. She got some disorder when she was young and was unable to move at all. I cant imagine how this feels or how painful it is. So that sort of led me to believe I should take care of my CNS, for it is a very painful place to get sick. As for my neighbors sister, im really hoping one day shell just come out of it, and id reckon thatd be the happiest day of her life.

You really think its serious? Can it be possible im just getting a charlie horse in my neck like one does with their hamstrings? Or stretching out a muscle in my neck?

Ok so how serious is this. I havent had a nerve pinch since the last post. But it was less intense but kinda made me lose control of my neck for a second. Im not askin for a personal diagnosis, but I just wanna know how serious this is. What "could" it be? I havent seen a doctor yet, but I dont want to feel dumb for turnin comatose just because I wasnt checkin myself up regularly.

PS I also quit Kratom recently. I hear it has withdrawal symptoms, any CNS side effects in particular that might ring a bell?

WELL THEN GO SEE A DOCTOR ALREADY!!!!

You could do permanent damage to the nerve, if it is pinched severely or for too long. That could result in loss of feeling, loss of muscle control, or even partial paralysis (of the affected area).

Do you feel any lumps in your neck, in the area that you get the pains in? I don't want to alarm you (well, ok, I do) but it's also slightly possible you have a tumor or something in there.

But you'll NEVER find out by posting here on the Shroomery. This is response #3 of 3, and ALL THREE have said you should go see a doctor :wink:

Did some research, and found this next to NECK PAIN
The usual stuff: warm, moist heat, massage, anti-inflammatory meds and maybe physical therapy. If this doesn't work, consider visiting your doctor or consider a MRI of the cervical spine and a visit with a spine specialist/neurosurgeon. If the pain goes into the face it is not likely related to a pinched nerve in the neck.

Ok so I did 2 things. One I went to a chiropractor and he told me that if it was serious, the pain would radiate to my arms or shoulders instead of my face. He said that it was a jaw problem, where when i chew, the nerves on the left side of my face seem to condense and release, causing that numbing effect. He reccomended I went to an orthodontist for oral surgery, if the problem persists. He didnt ask for money either, which was super cool. Next my mother took me to this acupuncturist who has no liscense to start a clinic, but is one of the best acupuncturists in the area. Yet again, alternative medicine beats western medicine. The chiropractor said it was a jaw problem, but the acupuncturist disagreed. He said it was shock, somehow my episode condensed its stress to cause physical ailments. It starts from my stomache to my arms to my face. He started pushing my stomach and arms and stuff, asking me which hurt the most. With a tap of a needle, he pushes the spot once more, with no pain at all. Acupuncture is quite amazing, but he did reccomend I get medicine, for the shock had made me lose 10lbs over the course of 2 months. Now I have to get needles stuck in me every saturday, ugh.
