The path to greatness doesn't stop because of a few seedlings it kicked over. The world is Darwinism, not some hippy Burning Man festival, and if a few trees need to be cut along the way so as to make a house, who should judge it?

So long as you are praised think only that you are not yet on your own path but on that of another.

From a Darwinian perspective, it is not a good idea for a species to kill itself off.

Of course not. But a few individuals? The military only attacks other societies, after all; our society will remain whole and dominant as long as we stay on the offensive.

The Romans did exactly that, yet their empire crumbled just like all the others. We cannot afford to delude ourselves into thinking that our empire will last forever. If we make enemies of the whole world, then we have sealed our fate, and our empire will come crashing down.

That is kind of rude to interject your own personal philosophy into someones life decision because you don't approve of what it stands for. What a sham you are. RUDE!

well my 2 cents:

your decision was a terrible one, and youll either die as a result or live to regret it. back out now if you can or reap what you sow.

all the best.

I think the marines will be a great place for structure.

Can you kill some one though? I mean, look some one in the eyes and do your job? Think about that.

It'd be crazy to kill someone on a large dose of LSD.

I think it would be crazy to kill some one on a large dose of LSD and then eat their brains while pretending that I was consuming their soul.

I know this goes against everything I believe in but I decided to go to the Marines. I should ship out to Parris Island South Carolina sometime in January. I know alot of you here on this board would think me stupid for doing this. I wouldn't blame you and I respect alot of your opinions, but this is something I have to do for myself. I just wanted to let you guys. I told you before I told my grandparents. Well lets here your comments, put downs, etc. etc. etc.
