If "look after your wife" means "I get to screw your wife" and if "being the godfather to your children" means "I don't have to do anything for your kids" then I say to you "Yes!" in a resounding voice!

It hurts to much to know a piece of shit like me is going to give his life for you to call him a "baby-killer" huh?

I was under the impression that you had no intention to sign up. If you sign up, then I will tell you that you've earned my respect for putting your money where your mouth is. Plain and simple.

Good luck. Don't listen to the pacifist hippies. They don't know shit.

Being a soldier is one of the most honorable things that a person can do. I respect anybody who is willing to put his or her ass on the line to defend their country. Ignoring the few inevitable bad apples, the men and women who serve in dangerous occupations in the military deserve respect. These people are better than I am.

I was thinking of joining the military, but I am kind of old now (26) and I have always had a problem with authority. I don't think my personality would be amenable to the military lifestyle. The armed forces are too important to have their time wasted by people who aren't going to be able to do the job.

I don't support the war in Iraq. I also don't like how our troops are stationed around the world instead of defending our soil. Not only do I think that foreign adventures waste resources and breed resentment, but I think that our troops are so important that they should not be frittered away in foreign lands. They should be defending our homeland.

If you or your unit should ever need anything, PM me and I will buy it and send it. I am financially well-off and I give to pro-military organizations on a regular basis.

Randalflagg is a good guy who understands why this country is as great as it is. Whether or not you support the war, everyone can contribute to this country in a way that is positive. The great thing about our nation is an all volunteer force. People CHOOSE to fight and others CHOOSE not too. This makes sure the warriors are the warriors and those that aren't, can contribute in other meaningful ways.

I'm sure every soldier out there doesn't expect every joe to join up, but the support they give regardless is a wonderful thing.

If someone is making tons of money in the private sector and dumping lots of cash into our economy, then they are doing their duty by making money and being a productive citizen.

I wouldn't want Bill Gates joining the military even if he supports the war in Iraq, I'd want him to continue making millions of dollars and funding an entire division of our army.

Randall sees that he wouldn't be the best soldier, but that he can contribute in other ways, and that makes him a friend to our nation and people in uniform, and a very worthy American.

In closing,

God Bless the United States!!!!!!!!!!!

?Magnanimous, unconquered, boisterous Ares, in darts rejoicing, and in bloody wars; fierce and untamed, whose mighty power can make the strongest walls from their foundations shake: mortal-destroying king, defiled with gore, pleased with war?s dreadful and tumultuous roar. Thee human blood, and swords, and spears delight, and the dire ruin of mad savage fight. Stay furious contests, and avenging strife, whose works with woe embitter human life.?

Ares, Mars, Onuris-Anhur, Tiu-Tyr, whichever you prefer, may the war god have mercy upon your soul and inflict great hostility upon your enemies.

Bless you and all that have chose the same path. Know that there are many you have made proud with your decision. I wish you all the best and hope that you ascend quickly in the ranks and use your power and influence for the betterment of our great country.

Try to keep in touch when you can. Maybe set up a blog or something. I'm sure many of us would like to hear about your trials and tribulations.

Get over that bullshit. War is almost always going to be killing people who have never done anything to you directly and you will not know them. Should the american armies have stayed out of WWII on the basis of, oh we don't know the germans and they haven't done anything to us.

Also, the people who flew planes into the WTC didn't hurt me at all, but I'd like to see everyone of them dead in the most painful manner possible.

Right on, but back to the main point good luck bro and I wish you the best of luck if this is truely something you wish to partake in. Our country needs people like you, if we ever get attacked by a concrete enemy I'll have my ass enlisted that same day.
