Unfolding Nature Shop: Unfolding Nature: Being in the Implicate Order

waves of influence

It is a miracle how much influence one person can have..

for example, there I am in the supermarket, waiting in the line, a couple of people are in front of me puitting products on that moving thingy, and there are those plastic separators that are supose to be used so that the products from one person don't mix with the items of the person behind him. NOBODY uses them. Not now, not yesterday, not day before that.

Then It's my turn, I take one of those things, put them on the moving thingy, and put my stuff behind it, and then behind me the person does the same, and the person behind him does the same thing.

next example:

Rarely does anyone use slide film anymore cause all the pros in my town switched to digital photography. I go around looking for slide film in many stores, I don't find it, they all say the demand has been low for years. Then I convince one of the stores to order some more, and they do. I though, great they ordered about 20 rolls, each time I come I'll have enough cause nobody buys the stuff. I return in a couple of days, almost all soled out.
the chain reaction was probably like this: there were people who liked to shoot slides but they didn't cause they didn't want to bother with orders etc. then a couple of them saw they had in stock and whoila, the slide photography is revived in my town. The store has a regular stock right now. They even supply stuff like glass slide mounts and slide viewers now.

It's great. People are unsecure beings and like to immitate, so everyone can be an example for anything. YOU can influence 10 or 100 or 1000 people indirectly with a smallest action in your community.

I put those thingies on the floor behind me so people don't bump me on the butt with their cart. Have I been using them wrong??

3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.

you mean the plastic thingies?

Because the "moving thingies" I was talking about are those train belts that move the items to the fat lady with the laser gun

Yeah, we're thingie-challenged here; the only kind we have are the plastic non-moving ones. We do have fat ladies with laser guns, though.

Your attitude towards life, IMO, is about the only thing that can really effect change in our world. And it is indirect. In other words, it is a by product of your living and not intentional towards changing anything.

I don't get it. Where do you put your stuff out of the cart?
If you don't have the moving thingies, do you give the stuff directly to the hands of the fat lady?

Surely you have it, you probably didn't get what I was talking about.
The black big rubber video tape that moves all the time carying products to the lady. That's what I'm talking about

When sat in a quiet room full of people (our lunch hut), I noticed that nobody was moving or saying anything for a period of time. I felt the strange anxiety in the air, a few seconds later, I raised my hand to scratch my head and suddenly 4 other people adjusted their seating position and two of them mimicked the sratch.

The sheep are waiting for when it is socially acceptable but half of them don't even realise why.

I love studying and ustilising social mimicry. Lovers are the worst. They smoke, drink, sit, even blink at the same time / in the same manner.

People are also aware of using mimicry to make somebody else like and trust you. They conciously behave in a similar manner (tone/rate of voice everything!) so that they can eventually manipulate you to do as they wish (have sex with them etc!).
