cant tend to my harvest

i live in a dorm room and we have to leave for thanksgiving break. i have a poor man's terrarium and the cake just pinned about 3 days ago. i wont be able to tend to my shrooms for 3 days. will they survive?

Proper air exchange, RH and temp control play big in successful harvests. Three days is a big window in terms of pinning -- lots of activity in that time.

If you can't do anything, you run the risk of contamination.

Back a while ago I knew a foaf who was very lazy, sometimes he didn't check on things for days. All that ever happened was that he got some big shrooms that let there spores drop on the trays. Nothing bad happened.

Air exchange is over rated. AFOAF once had a poor mans terrarium, he only opened the cap of he bottle for couple of minuets each day. a quarter pint cake grew six four to six inch tazzies. no prob
