After i innoculate the jars, what is the average amount of time before they are ready to harvest? I'm growing the B+ strain.

Depends on the size of jars or bags, temperature, strain, and substrate but yeah in a month in a half you should be harvesting even if your conditions are less then ideal. Air exchange and temp seem to be the most important factors.

It really depends. 1/2pint cakes innoculated with fresh spores and incubated at 86 degrees and flipped at 65% and removed tape will take about 14 to 18 days to fully colonize. Let's say you either way for invitro pins or birth fully colonzied and fruit as cakes you'll be waiting a week for pins. Then, another week for the first flush to mature to a point of harvest. Minimum time would be a month. Bad tempuratures, irregular conditions etc. can easily add 2 - 4 weeks onto that time period. Tip: setup your terrarium a couple days before you plan to birth so you can get the right conditions set. Tip: colders months, longer colonization times. Look into building a incubator (really helps) that will keep your jars at a constant 86 degrees. I built a perfect one for $20.

A fish tank heater ($15) and a $5 cooler. I dont humidify it unless I use filter discs. 2 weeks at 86 degrees will not dry out your cakes.

"2 weeks at 86 degrees will not dry out your cakes. " hmm not up north where i live.. that would make some dryy cakes. Some places like taiwan where its surounded by oceans you can put cookies on the window sill and within a few hours they are nice and moist.. where i live they go all crunchy! The RH here in my house is always like 20-40% so so dry! peace
