What a nice one... he was telling me about it today, I hunt in the same places he does sometimes... my lazy ass slept in or I would have gone hunting. I'm gonna wait till the rains come again before getting out...The forecast is not looking swell for us shroomers :frown:

ya we have over a week or two with no rain coming up. bummer. but when the rain comes it should be cooler outside.

This was in pinestraw completely covered, for some reason the mushrooms i pick in this spot are so much bigger than all the other in the grass. I think it has to do with all the shade and the food source, might also have to do with the ph of the soil there but there all monsters that i pull out of there...

wow does everyone feel the temps outside? As soon as we get some damn rain its on. The season is finally here, good luck everyone it was almost chilly last night, temps around low 70's upper 60's. Id say a couple of str8 days of rain and they will explode.

Yep. Its definitely gotten alot cooler. Ive been checkin my last years patches with no luck. Quick question though . . . while i was checking nearby my patches, I lifted up the pinestraw and noticed mycelium that was tinged blue. Does this indicate that this is most likely weilii mycelium?
