Bogart films on TCM
    #4605664 -

They are showing a bunch of excellent Humphrey Bogart films on Turner Classic Movies tonight, and you'll love seeing them if you haven't seen them before, or if you have.

I was just watching Treasure of the Sierra Madre, when I noticed Bogart after he had left his friend to die, wandering around in the wilderness. He was leading his burro past several 20 foot tall San Pedro cactuses!! I *guess* they decided to do extra work on the film, because they knew it would be a Classic

Well, darn! Right now they are showing Casablanca. These are some of the finest movies ever made. Did you know that Bogart fought the Blacklist in the 50s? He & his wife, Lauren Bacall actually went to the House Un-American Activities Committee, and essentially ripped them a new asshole. They were demonstrating courage like what we now see in Cindy Sheehan with her protest at Crawford.
