i was one of the lucky ones who never really suffered from pimples/acne growing up.. maybe it came with the territory of being the "chillest motherfucker ever", but i will break out a little when the stress piles up

I had a medium case of acne in my teens. Never that bad, but it was noticable.

I remember some guys at highschool, whom I couldn't even see their faces. Just red lumps everytwhere. That had to have been sore as fuck too.

It's better than having one on your nose. This happens to me a lot. Before a show, before I'm supposed to hang out with someone. I'm sure it'll happen the day before school starts.

I hate pimples more than anything else in the world. If you really want to get rid of them for awhile, get your doctor to prescribe you minocycline. After a couple weeks you won't get them anymore. It's awesome. Of course, when you stop taking it, they slowly come back. Accutane usually takes care of pimples for good, but I wouldn't recommend that stuff.

I had minor acne in higschool, but it was persistent. Minocycline did nothing for me, my doc put me on accutane and all acne went away and never came back.

The only problem i had was it dried my eyes and comboing that with smoking herb made my contacts bug me.

I really feel for people that get blemishes. I'm old and I've gotten maybe 10 bad pimples in my life. I exercise a lot, shower a lot and get really dry skin so I think that helps.

School/work/socializing is stressful enough (possible cause of acne), but then adding something to be self-conscience about doesn't help.

diet also plays a role
drink lots of water eat lots of fruits veggies and whole grains and you wont really get them
eat greasy fried processed foods and such and you are much more likely to break out. that's always been pretty true for me. stress seems to trigger them but diet seems to decide them.

I had some zits through high school, but they pretty much went away. However, I still break out if I binge on opiates for a week or so.

I think that it's a myth that eating certain types of food cause acne breakouts. Now that I've said that, I'll also say that eating healthy focus' your consciousness on health and well-being and that could have more effect than anything. The best thing for acne is to get the sweat rolling. Sit in a sauna for 30-45 minutes a day and drink plenty of water. Some people just are genetically 'suited' to being pizza-faced. Some have peaches and cream complexion (me!)
