Ooh ooh! And I barely read any of the books I was supposed to either.

I was trying to convince my friend Ani to take a 1000/wk job instead of going to her sophomore year at college, since I lost faith in my education halfway through.

English and American Literature.

I read the books that looked interesting, but if it seemed boring by the end of the first chapter I just skipped it altogether. It takes me 3 days at the most to read most books so I tore through what I wanted to read early in the semester and just coasted through the class the rest of the way.

Certain classes, like my Hemingway/Faulkner seminar, I was actively engaged in. Cuz it rocked.

For the first two years I went about 75% of the time and just generally slacked off and either didnt do the homework and reading, or did a half assed job at them. Unfortunately my grades have slipped both due to lack of attendance and the homework and reading thing. I think I'm at like a 2.5 gpa right now but I'm hoping to turn that into at least a 3.0 by the time I graduate.

I'd say my attendance is about 98-99% of the time. Occasionally, I'll oversleep and miss it, but I try my damned hardest not to do that.

As of today, 100%, what the future holds, I do not know. But I hope it remains high cause if we miss more than 4 times in a normal class, it's an automatic fail.

I will be aiming for 100%. My goal to study abroad by next Fall must be accomplished with great grades and attendance, so I can hopefully get recommendations....or scholarships...or something like that.

You go because you paid for it? The perfect motivation...
