College, Day 2: I LOVE IT!!!

My first day of college was sort of not-so-good, but the second day has completely kicked ass.  I got to know my professors more, and because I can't get books until this Friday, each of them were really understanding and nice about it.  My history teacher even gave me a book to borrow until I get my own. 

Okay, and get this...I had great conversation with COMPLETE STRANGERS today.  Me...Mrs. Social Anxiety actually spoke and felt somewhat comfortable with no less then a dozen people!!  I feel sort of proud of myself about that, like it is a great achievement for me. 

And my English professor is SOOO awesome.  I love this man.  He reminds me of an ultra-dignified 18th century gentleman, and is so genuine and funny.  He just exudes a vibe that resonates with my soul.  He told us stories all through class. 

And my math teacher is wonderful too.  Today, she was wearing a shirt that had patterns all over it and I kept looking at the patterns because they reminded me of the patterns I see while tripping, and after class I went up to her and said, "Your shirt is very trippy," and she smiled right at me and said, "You know, that's why I bought it."  :grin:

My other professors are great also.  Anyway, I feel really happy tonight.  :smile:

Austin Community College.  After I do well there...I want to try and transfer to a university.  :smile:

great to hear.

Once you get into the ryhthm of it, college is cake. I just started my senior year 2 days ago, its like clockwork now...I dont even give it any thought anymore.

Right now, just the ones that I have to take, like:  US History, English Composition, a Speech class, and a Math class.
