When to transplant indica (pic)
    #459301 - 11/15/01 12:35 PM (22 years, 10 months ago)

I have this two indicas growing in this small pots, seed was planted 1 and a half week ago and they are allready 2 inches tall. When do you think i might transplant them to a bigger pot ?
BTW, the substrate is peat moss + verm + grit + potting soil, it worked great, i put tinfoil with several holes covering the pot, put them next to a sunny/warn window and they grew and touched the foil after 3 days of germination.

Peace,
MAIA

Are you going to keep growing them in a soil mix, or set up a hydroponic system for them?

i'd wait until you have about 3-4 sets of fan leaves to transplant.. you should transplant into a large container so you wont have to transplant again.. stress from transplanting can cause a female to become a hermaphridite.(which is bad news).. if i were you and were serious about growing i would wait until flowering and find the female and take clones.. this is a very efficient way of growing indoors.check out overgrow and look at the new "stealth grow box" they they have on the main page.. now that fucker would be nice to have....but since your growing from the halide in the sky you probably wouldnt benefit from cloning and the "sea of green" method... good luck with your grow..

You should be aware, that hemp flowers if exposed to less then 12-14 hours of light dayly.
This means that in winter in Europe you won?t have much luck with these ?f you only give them naturla light.

Use those plantable peat moss cups and you won't have that problem.

Thanks for your input and tips. Just to add that they "sleep" inside my dark and warm shroom incubator, then in the morning at 9:00am they go to the window to have some natural light if any till 1:00pm, then they go inside an aquarium with perlite on bottom and a 100w daylight bulb above till 9:00pm or 10:00pm, they seem to like it this way, healthy and fast growth. Anyway, i hope i'm not stressing the plants too much.

Peace,
MAIA

go buy yourself a 1000 watt agrosun gold they are the best. 100 watt is barely enough for your plant to live

If your only growing two plants I would buy a 250-400 hps lamp..You can grow with flourescents and flower with a HPS lamp they put out more watt per dollar than halide lamps..Someone said 3-4 set off leaves I would go with that...Remember you need 1 gallon per 1 foot of growth if your using soil....

Going crazy will drive you mad, but once you get there the rest is easy....All spores are not created equal!!!!!!!!!!! Sporeworks, Hawkseye, PF, they are completely viable with very strong genetics.

Actually, you can even flower with flourescents. Just go to 12/12. Surround your plants with them. Your buds will be on the small side but you'll have bud. I've actually seen pretty decent foot long colas from flourescents. Use a good strain of indica.
