First Period Kit - For Girls *LAME*

We have just newly updated our First Period Kits! Now with more goodies for the same or lower prices!

A girl's first menstruation is such an exciting and beautiful time in life. Here at Birth With Sol we felt that beginning the journey into womanhood, another birth experience, deserves to be honored and celebrated with joy and pride! It is so vital to pass down to our girls the importance of pride and appreciation for our womanly bodies, and celebrating the first menses is a great way to start. So many young girls don't have a positive attitude about being on their moon only because that is all they hear from their peers. At first, she may act like it's no big deal, but we'd be willing to bet that she will remember and appreciate the celebration for the rest of her life! We want to do our small part in helping to change those negative attitudes!

In addition to giving one of our First Period Kits, there are many ways to celebrate. Get all dressed up, give her a single red rose and have a "women's" night out at the fanciest restaurant in town. Have a blessingway, welcoming her into womanhood or have a period party, inviting wise women she grew up around, to tell uplifting stories about her growth and maturity. They can also give their wisdom about life and womanhood, writing it down in a journal for her to treasure in the future.

You can plan to have one on one time at home. Prepare her favorite meal, light some candles, give her one of our first period kits and have a good heart to heart (with a big hug, of course). Turn it into a yearly ritual for the two of you.
