tripping at an amusement park?
    #4581075 - 08/25/05 07:01 PM (18 years, 7 months ago)

Has anyone ever tried this? I was at Dorney Park (high thrill ride type of park, with a water park built into it) and I was thinking about how amazing it would be to ride the rides on shrooms. Now, I'm the type of person that revels in cheating death (even though rolly coasters isnt really that extremem) and I also believe I personally can never ever have a bad trip.

Has anyone with a similar mentallity ever trid this? I wish I had thought of it earlier....now I can't wait till next summer to try it out!

Yeah, roller coasters are cool, as are water rides. But the folks at the parks suck, like who wants to hang out with a bunch of redneck families complaining of suit rashes and overpriced hot dogs? There's swarms of ugly preteen girls with tiny bikinis on, screaming and cutting in line. The lines, man, sometimes the lines are like 30-45 minutes long. Maybe I go to shitty parks, but I enjoy it as much as I can while high. By the time the dank buzz wears off, I've ridden all the good rides anyway. Now if you could organize a private Shroomery party, rent out a water park for the day, that would be kickass!

that would be AMAZING. tripping in a public place with lots of people around is something i've yet to do. I doubt I'd have too big a problem with it. As for waiting in lines, me and my friend went on a wednesday, and Dorney Park is a fairly well known park on the upper east coast, at least, and the longest we had to wait was 15 minutes in a line. And it was a beautiful day out, so there would've been lots to look at.

Amusement parks suck, enjoy nature instead. Why surround yourself with over-priced food and fakeness. You dont have to see bugs bunny or mickey mouse to be amuse, all you gotta do is look at the stars and tansport yourself to another demension.

i'm don't care about seeing the zany characters and stuff like that. i'm just talking about the rush from the thrill rides....feeling the wind in my face, the bottoming out sensation, stuff like that.

True.

But the colors, sights, sounds, smells are overwhelming to a person while sober. Think about if you were on 2 hits of LSD...

It cost me and my 3 friends like 30 dollars to get food at New York Fries from Canada's Wonderland. 30 fucking dollars for fries and some drinks.

The only ride I liked was the Italian Job or maybe the Vortex. Wasn't tripping, but that would have made it better i guess. Still pricy and not the same as it was when I was younger.

I've tripped at disneyland before and to tell you the truth you learn alot. You learn alot about human nature. the rides for some reason don't really present a rush but they are still amazing but in a different way. for instance I didn't even notice I was going down a water drop because I was too busy listening to the cricket noises and basking in the incredible environment.
