I got kicked off sugar mountain years ago and i just want to go back.I'm in my 30's and most of my friends have all grown up and had kids,own houses,career etc.I've just traveled around and partied but have tried to do the repsonsible thing as best as i could,but i hate it.At this point in my life i just don't think i was built for that,and just want to be a free spirit.society totally frowns on that,your suppossed to grow up do the responsible thing.I just have a hard time with subjecting myself to the plow and being a loyal beast of burden.all my old friends left sugar mountain and moved on,i feel that i'm the only one still at the base of it longing to be back on it.here i am the night after a good shroom trip drinking a morning beer feeling reflective after seeing the allman brothers and so missing the old days...when i was young.where do old burnouts go anyways???lol

We come here. I'm 52 and still doin my thing. Never totally copped into the system. Stayed on the fringe and made money without working my ass off at things I hated. I don't work more than 26 hr. per week. Then I play. The middle ground will work for you.

DO NOT MARRY, DO NOT HAVE KIDS, DON'T BUY TOYS YOU WON'T USE, LIVE WITHIN YOUR MEANS, TAKE PSYCHEDELICS, HAVE A GOOD MUSIC SYSTEM. LIVE SOMEWHERE NEAR WILDERNESS, GO TO BURNING MAN. You'll be fine.

I don't know what sugar mountain is, but I love people on here that inspire me to not be the same cookie cutter "adult" I see everwhere else.
Luckily, so does my mom.
