Could somebody point me to a detailed description of the hyphal knot to pinning process?  I want to see some good close-up pics of exactly what I should be looking for and how I know I'm fanning and misting properly.

I know patience is a virtue, but I've been patient for 2 weeks of the fruiting cycle and now I belive there may be some variables causing my cakes and casing to remain dormant.

Dude, just wait until it happens.

All the things I thought were those knots turned out not to be future pins.

Just one day I checked 'em and there were like 20 pins overnight.

I'm kinda shaky on the setup though...

I'm pretty broke for a while (insurancy company dicked me over) and I'm only able to use plastic wrap over the top, so I dunno if it's getting enough humidity because I can't afford a hygrometer. The perlite is wet and the water only stays on the sides of the aquarium for 2 hours or so. I don't wanna touch the cakes to see if they're dry, but they look dry.

I fan when I get a chance to, usually 4 or 5 times a day, and sometimes if the casing and cakes look dry I'll give a couple bursts from 2 or 3 ft away...

I don't know, I don't have a good feeling but if it sounds like I'm doing something wrong here let me know!
