EDIT: This may not be as good as I thought - see HippieChick's opinion
Fluker's Thermo-Hygrometer
Operation Range: 0-50 deg C / 32-122 deg F (.1 deg resolution, ether way) 20-99% RH (1% resolution)
I bought mine for approx. $23 + tax at my local PetCo (I do not think PetSmart carries this, but I'm unsure)
Currently $18 online here: http://www.petco.com/Shop/Product.aspx?familyid=14241 (through 7/18)

It is extremely nice, I it. Hope this helps someone! -ghost

Not in a FC...
Maybe it is too early to tell if it is worth a fuck in that respect. I could go ahead a do a test run and get back to you. How early is too early to get an FC going?
I have tested it against another decent thermometer I have, and it was spot on.
And then this:
Took an 8x8x3 container and put the device in there. I then heated a shot glass w/ water to a boil and put it in there. After a few minutes the container was cloudy, but when I opened it to check the humidity (95% at that point), I brought the h20 back to boil, reinserted and after another four minutes the reading is: 83.4 deg F / 95% rh.
EDIT: The other testing has been in a warm cabinet where it seems to fare consistently and reliably.
I'll really have to make a final judgement I guess until I see how it operates in a high-humidity area for a length of time.
So, seems to be pretty decent IMO. -ghost

Do a salt test if you want to check it . That's the exact same one's I had . They will NOT hold up to the constant extreme humidity . That's why most peeps around here don't use that particular model .

Well, you've used them and I haven't so anyone considering one should probably consider HC's warning. I'll hang on to mine for a minute to test my FC, and then return it. My receipt says I have 30 days. May as well use it while I can -- for free
