That's just Bill O'Reilly's style. He invites the most incompetant raving looneys onto his show to make the left look bad while pretending to be "fair and balanced."

I'd rather listen to her all day, everyday, over that ridiculous story in Aruba they're fixated on. Anything but that.

they should rename fox news "aruba watch". seriously, what a joke fox is.

Shit, that's pretty much every news station on tv. I can't catch 5 minutes of news without that being brought up.

i don't undestand this trend of following these missing person/foul play suspected stories all the time. It's not like they even make an effort to cover all of the different stories fairly. Many people go missing and they sure as hell don't get 100 hours of tv time dedicated to them. Once this story is over we'll get another one just like it. I think these stories are always hyped up so that the media has a story to fall back on when theres nothing of real value to report (or they don't want to report something) That realization sickens me. Do we really need a teo hour update about how they stuck a camera into a septic tank? give me a fucking break! She was probably just partying to hard with these guys, OD'd on some of their drugs, and they panicked and buried her. But who the fuck cares? There's nothing we can do for her, she's dead.

If you or I went missing, we probably wouldn't even make our local papers. Unless we had wealthy families.

Some conservatives it seems, would love to do away with that pesky First Amendment right to Free Speech.

Treasonous in what sense? He is a political commentator and has no legal bearing of any sort. Are we suppose to assume from your post that he honestly believed she should be tried for treason, or that possibly her actions are harming the country by giving strength to the enemy?

The insurgents want dissent at home, it gives them strength to continue the fight. The only way the U.S can be defeated is at home.

i think the chick should drop the charade... she just wants to kind of slap Bush in the face... she knows "why" her son died.... Bush is not EVER going to give her an answer like "well I lied and manipulated intelligence so I could get me some oil!" she's just doing it to make a scene and to harrass the president.

However, not that there is something wrong with that, because the war is sketchy as hell... but you know, why doesn't she just admit that she's just doing this to bash on the president... rather than put up the front of asking him why her son died.

I don't know how a president can answer that question... he was a soldier... and he died fighting in a war. It's not like Bush knew him personally and told him where to fight and whatnot... talking to people in his squadrons and his generals and stuff would be more prudent.

She's a much more sympathetic figure to the public by saying, "I want to talk to the president(leaving out 'again')" than saying, "I want to debate the president into the ground."

Cowardly use of the word nearly?

Yes, very much so. The right to protest and speak out is a huge part of America. It is not even remotely treasonous by any stretch of the imagination.

Are you hoping for a police state or do you support her right to speak freely?

She can say whatever stupid bullshit she wants. There is, however, nothing cowardly about O'Reilly's use of the word "nearly". I disagree with him but that doesn't mean courage or cowardice is even relevant except in your wondrously fertile imagination.

Maybe you missed it. 60% of Americans believe Iraq was DIRECTLY responsible for 9/11. Did that come from any facts? No.

It came in large part from Fox News pounding home that falsehood everyday for years. Fox News definitely caters to "conservatives" and doesn't appear to have any ethics whatsoever in helping to promote a very dangerous right-wing agenda through erroneous propaganda.

Likewise Bush has always mentions Iraq and 9/11 in the same speech, but denies he ever said there was a connection. When he did speak to Sheehan about her son's death, he said," Did you forget about 9/11?"

The proof is in the pudding.

Right. I'm sure that was the exact context.

Like how he just happened to yell at that kid for being against the war on his show a couple years back; that video the spread all over the CBC and the Internet... when in reality they didn't tell you he was pissed at the kid for coming on the show saying that George Bush planted bombs in the WTC, blew it up, and framed other people and had absolutely no shred of evidence.

Riiiiight

I think he's a classy motherfucker.

O'Reilly may be a dick sometimes, but it takes a bit to get him really pissed off. Like above mentioned situation, or how NPR invited him on to talk about his autobiography and all they did was just say "Al Franken said this about you. Al Franken says that about you. Is that true? Al Franken said you eat babies. Please defend yourself now because Al Franken is always right in everything he says about you even though he has no proof. Al Franken's word is law and when he says you eat babies, Al Franken is right".

The media just likes to push his buttons by spreading rumors about how he likes to touch the pee pees of unborn monkeys and smoke crack. Like any other human who has too much shit thrown in his face, he lashes out. Sure he has Ann Coulter, the evil whore, on his show sometimes. He's got plenty of left wingers too. He likes to watch them battle it out. Is *IS* a registered independent, believe it or not and YES he does talk shit about Bush all the time on his show, so your theory about his "dissent is treason " attitude makes no sense. He called that professor at the University of Colorado a treasonist not because of his speaking out against capitalism, but for saying that the al Qeuda operatives who flew the planes into the WTC were heros and that the people who died that day deserved it. I hope that man rots in hell.

If you wannt bitch about your country, FINE. That's your right and I'm glad to have the freedom to piss and moan about Bush. But, don't expect to be treated with respect unless you can do more than just bitch. You're of no help unless you can offer a solution to supplement your rants, because all you are then is a giant monolith of negativity. If you don't like the land you're living on. Don't bitch. Don't run... do something. Put your money where your mouth is and build something on that ground instead of bitching about how much you hate that piece of land.

I appluad an editorialist who talks shit when ppl get on his back for no reason.
