dessicant heating question

To reuse dessicant: how long and at what tempurature should I bake at. What should I look for when complete? I got some stuff that works really well when I fan dry for 24 hours and dessicant for a additional 48 hours gets my mushrooms cracker dry.

I am baking them at 425 for an hour in a dish with one granual deep layers. I will then be storing it in a glass container sealed while still hot. I wont know if they are still good or not untill I try to use them again. Is there anything I can look for or test for to see if it worked fine?

All you need do is bake the stuff dry. Your plan will work well.
