hey guys im doing a experiment

i mixed some coir and spawn and put in bags to colonies , any ideas on what to expect or should i fuck the idea and put in BBQ trays?

you have to give it something to feed on! coir is inert (has no nutrients!)

Coir works very well when added to a bulk substrate such as horse poo, and mycelium will colonize it. If you have a limited supply of h/poo, you can cut it 50/50 with coco coir and double your supply, with great results. It seems that the moisture retention properties of coir provides an extra benefit for your bulk substrate. When mixed and hydrated together, nutrients from poo will roll over into the coir.
