central cali mushrooms?

ive heard that a few exist around here, from science teachers and whatnot, but i dont know the strains or anything.. could anyone help me out with this? pics would help greatly! (sacramento-ish area)

Bay area hunting...

Check out My Diablo state park, look int valley areas and lower level areas near water and camp grounds.

Sonora/Sonoma National forests.. this is pretty general but they both have wild mushrooms growing all over..

Mier Woods and the redwood forest.. Look along creeks and the edges of the coastline where the forest meets the beach.

If anyone can give me tips on where to hune herre in S Cal I would appreciate it..

If anyone can help me with

also.. i was lookin round my backyard(big w/ lots of ivy.. gets nice and moist) and grabbed a few mushrooms.. theres a digi cam round this place somewhere, so pictures may come.. but i will describe for now

1. golden, slim stem, gold top also, yellow/ white spores

2. also very small, white stem, white top, w/ small amount of yellow, dark spores

any chance these are tasty?
