Fortune Cookie

Had Chinese tonight, yeah - that, and food too.  My cookie (no, the other one!) said:

"You are admired by everyone for your talent and ability."

The Universe knows...

Wait a second... that's not a fortune. You should demand your money back!

Republican Values:

1) You can't get married to your spouse who is the same sex as you.
2) You can't have an abortion no matter how much you don't want a child.
3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.

It could mean that he is "fortunate" to be admired for his talent and ability. :toomuchacid:

The other cookie remains unopened. Is it cheating to crack and read it?

Hmmm good question. I think you are only allowed one fortune per meal for it to be true. Open it after breakfast and tell us what it says.

At least you got a cool one. The last one I openned said, "Man who wake up with smelly finger go to bed with itchy butt"

What happens if there is no fortune inside? That mean I'm going to die?

There are worse things to be....being empty might be fun...on a philosophical level that sounds kind of Zen.

I think you are only allowed one fortune per meal for it to be true.

A friend and I had lunch last week at the local MSG Palace.

He opened his fortune cookie and felt special until I opened mine and it was the SAME fortune!  We both had a good laugh.

I once got a fortune cookie that said "We are always watching you" and it scared the hell out of me for a least a week.

Do you know anyone who actually beleives in those things. They are for entertainment purposes only to most, I thought

Do you know that the fortune inside was an american made idea and not any sort of Chinese tradition brought over to the West?

Hahahah Kitten, That was funny! Welcome to S&P btw!

Can't say I have. I guess that, if "they" WERE watching me, they must have gotten bored somewhere along the way.
