looking everywhere and knowing all you see is an illusion....

everywhere. And you think, "well I'd like to pierce the veil" and see the truth laying behind but the only real way you can do that is by dying.

Yup, in the meantime, enjoy!

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

? All I'm saying is...if you can't pierce the veil completely in life, then enjoy life to the fullest, and do what you can to pull it aside a slight bit and peek behind. Drugs, going for a walk, listening to music, reading a book, however you do it. Just can't let yourself get too wrapped up with wanting to see ALL OF IT ALL THE TIME!

Try reading Siddhartha. That was his mindset in the first years of his spiritual practice and he failed in that practice.

When you die, you pierce through the veil, and you see everything..and everything is, of course, nothing...so read the lyrics to the song below...

Road to Nowhere

WELL WE KNOW WHERE WE'RE GOIN'
BUT WE DON'T KNOW WHERE WE'VE BEEN
AND WE KNOW WHAT WE'RE KNOWIN'
BUT WE CAN'T SAY WHAT WE'VE SEEN
AND WE'RE NOT LITTLE CHILDREN
AND WE KNOW WHAT WE WANT
AND THE FUTURE IS CERTAIN
GIVE US TIME TO WORK IT OUT

We're on a road to nowhere
Come on inside
Takin' that ride to nowhere
We'll take that ride

I'm feelin' okay this mornin'
And you know,
We're on the road to paradise
Here we go, here we go

We're on a road to nowhere
Come on inside
Takin' that ride to nowhere
We'll take that ride

Maybe you wonder where you are
I don't care
Here is where time is on our side
Take you there...take you there

We're on a road to nowhere
We're on a road to nowhere
We're on a road to nowhere

There's a city in my mind
Come along and take that ride
and it's all right, baby, it's all right

And it's very far away
But it's growing day by day
And it's all right, baby, it's all right

They can tell you what to do
But they'll make a fool of you
And it's all right, baby, it's all right

We're on a road to nowhere

You die, you finally pierce the veil. As you look over to the other side, you realize that its just another shity plane of existance like the one you came from. and Oh Shit! your black too!
Exsisting is about learning lessons, if you go through life without living it to its fullest, you'll be made to make up for it in the next.

I've had some cool stuff happen from meditating, and it was much more powerful than when I was tripping. In fact I'm going to meditate right now.
