water drops on casing
    #449403 -

I have noticed very small water drops are on some of the mycelium of my first casing. I have tried to carefully keep the humidity at around 88-92% with pretty good success. is this a problem or just part of the deal? any help would be appreciated

Water drops are bad, especially after pins form.

I havn't found them to be to much of a problem. I case with coco, and it usually soaks them up. If your caps are a bit 'slimey' then you have too much moisture.

Tiny water drops mean your shrooz will be POIZEN!!
But seriously, small water droplets on a casing are not a problem at all, it's when you get standing drips/drops/puddles that it's something to worry about. And even then, it's hardly drastic. If you get big blobs of water, just sook them up with a bit of kitchen roll or something.

thanks for the advice, I think I should start to see some pinning in a few days, so maybe I will sterilize a q-tip and soak up the excess water. I dropped the temp from 84-85 to 70 the other night thinking it was time to try and initiate the pinning process( I was a bit early I have now found out) and I am thinking that the drop in temp caused the air to condense into tiny dropplets. Plus the humidity when at 70 degrees was in the high 90's. what do you think?
