Wow, your cactus is crazy! That's some killer growth. Texas is a good climate for Pedros, I guess.

Back on topic: What animal do you least anticipate working with? At the pet store I worked at, I hated the birds the most.

Well...I have gotten over the worst of my arachiphobia but I will be hestitant to do anything with spiders.  But if I'm a bather, then I will mostly be working in the grooming section, probably with dogs and the like.  But yeah, spiders still kinda weird me out at times.  My long shroom trip in Ohio helped to cure me of the worst of my fear, thankfully.

Awesome how tripping can do that, huh?  :grin: :mushroom2:

Yeah, as a bather you probably won't have much to do with the tarantulas. However, you'll have to deal with other people's mangy ass mutts.

Where I used to work, some people would FLIP THE FUCK OUT when they would see that our groomer muzzled their vicious dog. A lot of people have no clue how aggressive their animal really is. And a lot of people would let their dog get so nasty and gross that I'd just want to take it out back and burn it.

The dog that I'm soon adopting from my mother has a temperment problem.  She's bitten me twice.  I almost had to get stiches on the second time.  The sad thing is that it's not her fault she's mean.  She was supposed to be my dog, but my mom dominated everything to be the way she wanted it.  My mom wouldn't let me bring her into my room as a teenager, she'd always lock Bambi up in a cage in the garage.  She forbid me from letting her out to play with her except for the dog to take a shit.  I'd sneak into the garage and let the dog out whenever I could, because I felt so bad for the poor girl. 

Now Bambi lives chained outside in my mom's yard of her big, nice fancy house 24/7.  Half the time she doesn't get food or water.  I have four brothers living at my parent's house yet nobody can find time to feed this poor animal.  I live two hundred miles away and when I go up to visit, she's so happy to see me and have loving company that it breaks my heart.  My mother has had the animal police called on her by a concerned neighbor who realized the dog's conditions.  Even then, nothing much changed.  Bambi's still chained in my mother's yard, forced to endure the hot Texas sun without any water, covered in fleas so that she can't stop scratching. 

And everyone ignores her.

That's why as soon as Kevin and I get a place with a yard, we are adopting her, because she deserves better.  We're going to have a doggie door so that she can move freely from the house to the yard, and we're always going to give her food and water.  She old now (12 yrs) and can barely move because of arthritis, but I'd really like to make her last years as pleasant as possible after everything she went through. 

Anyway, sorry, that got long!  I toked up some resin and it's made me pretty high.

My father's a veterinarian, so all our animals are very well cared for.

Actually, they only have 2 dogs anymore: mine and my mom's.  My sister moved out last year, so her cat and rat live with her.  I can't have a dog in my apartment.  It's for the better I suppose.  I'm trying to get my security deposit back, and my min-pin is so poorly behaved....

Here's a conundrum:  All I've consumed today is Wheat Thins, cranberry juice, and Vicodin.  I just vomited, and a whole lot of bright yellow stomach acid just came out.  I mean A LOT.  WTF happened to the Wheat Thins and juice?  I just ate that shit w/i the past half hour. :confused:

Vomiting is common for me with most drugs. I puke a lot... very sensitive stomach.

But I believe that a lot of people are prone to nausea and vomiting from opiates.

I was vomiting ALL day on 200mg of morphine sulfate.

Hell yeah, that's a lot of morphine. That'd make me vomit all day, and probably for most of the next day.

I live my life in a state of mild OD.

My question was: what happened to the Wheat Thins and cranberry juice? Shouldn't my puke have had some chunks in it, or a tinge of redness?

It has the worst fucking taste ever. I remember puking it up all day every hour on the hour after one long rough nite of whisky drinkin'. God it was horrible.

Nah, it wasn't bile. I have puked that before, it's much more yellow than what I puked, and it does burn... a lot. This was just some stomach acid.

That's when I get it, after long nights of liquor drinkin, only occasionally though, thank god. You already feel like you want to die, tasting that shit coming up makes it even worse.

I drank some whiskey one night and then ate some pork fried rice.. I don't know if it was alcohol poisoning.. or food poisoning.. but I puked for about 10 hours straight.. puked up the bile until there was none left.. and dry heaved for another 5 hours. Sick for three days.. that sucked.

That's happened to me only twice, where I've puked bile all day long until there was nothing left to puke. And both times were after heavy amounts of whisky. The first time I was at work from about 3 - 8 before the manager found out I was sick and sent me home. I was like 14/15 and working in a hot kitchen... blahhhhh
