job issues... help

Alright so I am getting a little annoyed lately. here's the deal...

I work 2 jobs. I do sourcing for an accessories company and I am a visual specialist for a very popular chain store. right now i do 10 hours a week sourcing and around 15 hours a week for visuals. it's not enough... and i really do not enjoy going to opposite directions for my jobs (esp. when I am scheduled both on the same day).

Today... shit kinda hit the fan. first off, my sourcing job has not paid me for 2 weeks and they tell me I need to wait ANOTHER week for cash. I have a feeling i'm getting dicked around here. I have the ability to ruin them considering that I control the email and all sourcing files and vendor contacts.

The second job, after me asking for more hours, i got 22 hours for the next week. i was psyched and things were great. well i come in today to find out that they had to give my hours away b/c they hired new people to train. so i went from 22 hours to 14 hours. i was PISSED.

so a friend of mine in the industry told me about a new store that was opening that was looking for a visual manager. i called up tonight and the job is open. a full time job. it's about 10 min longer of a drive... but full time. that means i could drop BOTH jobs and dedicate myself to this one job. i figured i'll go and fill out the application tomorrow.

but im kinda torn b/c i enjoy my job (not the sourcing one)... i like the people there. i am just sick of getting lied to (like... "ya ur getting a raise" and "be on the lookout for that promotion" and giving me hours and then TAKING THEM AWAY).

Argh...

Damn man... sorry. I hate being dicked around, no matter where it's at. I'd say take the full time job. It's always better to be able to fully devote yourself to something rather than do 2 things halfway. Usually with me at least

You should go and talk to your boss at the job that you like and let them know that you have been offered another job. Tell them you will be making more money and it's full time. If they offer you a raise then stick around if not put in your 2 week notice.

ya... i went surfing today... gave me time to think. hehe. i think im gonna just see what happens when i mention it to the other job that i like.

a visual specialist is a window designer. hehe. and instore display designer. i do marketing as well.
