Interesting read! Wow, that's pretty sweet. Hopefully it doesn't get out of control when it hits the us. And does any one else feel almost as if this is Russia's way of sticking their tongue out at the US? A little??

Maybe Russia will get a really professional PowerPoint presentation by some intensely smart doctors on the benefits of LSD legalization, and when the US tries to get them to ban it again, they just laugh at us? That would be sweet.

It's not, Russia is actually pretty similar to the United States.  They have the same basic goals except at the moment they have begun decriminalizing drugs due to the shitty conditions in the jails due to overcrowding.  They are doing the same shit the US is doing; taking over areas with large oil reserves i.e. Chechnya, the whole Caususan region. 

Plus Putin is trying to get more control over the country, just like Bush. Except the shit Putin is doing is way more extreme.  You American's don't even know, Bush is like Martin Luther King Jr. when compared to Putin.  That fucker is a ex KGB, black belt in some martial arts, I'M SURE HE HAS KILLED PEOPLE IN THE PAST WITH HIS BARE HANDS.

Those KGB mother fuckers were killing eachother for the past decade, most of them are currupt. Putin prolly killed his way to the top or bribed. If all the world conflicts could be settled with a fight between the leaders of the nations, Putin would be an Emperor of Planet Earth. That would be interesting to see one country not bow down to the us when they say ban drugs. And I know that there are many great possibilities that LSD in the united states will end up not being a good thing.

I've hear many stories about how much more worse Russia is then the united states. I  don't agree with how ether of the countries runs things. Not sure if you have heard of the great new patriot act that they have going now. But I won't argue with you because I'm willing to bet I have far less knowledge then you .And I haven't had the chance to read in to Russia and the new patriot act.

That is so cool! someone needs to do reasearch on the drug, it is a lot safer then most people think, it has medical uses I am sure, just like cannabis... in fact without reading things on the internet about LSD I found out it was safer then I once thought...I thought acid killed bain cells if used too often...and made you stupid if you use it too often...

well not Russia exactly but i'm from a republic that was part of the former soviet union (Uzbekistan). Either way i think any attempt to allow for research on LSD is a step in the right direction and i really don't think that the U.S. is gonna make a big deal about it. The administration has a list of priorities and i don't think preventing other countries for researching psychedelics in one of them.
