Casing mix w/out vermiculite?

Vermiculite is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of in my area - has been since early summer and even more so now that dept. stores are shrinking down their garden depts. I've gotten a lot of different reasons from shop clerks but in any case.. I can't find it. I'm going to hunt around when I go to MN this weekend for the Jimmy Buffett concert but if not, can anyone recommend a good mixture for casing that doesn't use vermiculite? I've been using strictly p.moss/verm./lime mix for casing since I began growing.
