I failed my permit test

I finally want to drive. So I go take my test. I was thinking that I had this in the bag. I'm going to pass this with flying colors.

First 2 I got wrong, then another. And finally I missed the last question when I was about to pass. Boy was I pissed, not to mention I felt stupid. IT WAS SO EASY AND I FAILED! :mad2:

Blah, oh well. I never needed to drive before, but I figure I should learn how to.

u dont drive? how old r u. shit when i turned 15 1/2 i swooped up on my bike license then 16 i got my car license

Why were you getting your permit? Aren't those for people under 18?

Yeah. If you're over 18 you just take the test and get the damn license.

You still need a permit even if you are over 18. At least that's the way it is in Mass anyway because I'm 19 and I had to go get my permit last month.

Weird, I've never heard of needing a permit if you're over 18.

I just took mine recently and just passed. I felt pretty accomplished too, considering I haven't been accomplishing much lately. :rolleyes:

And regardless as to whether or not you are over 18, you still need to get your permit. You can test for your license at any time, there is no 6 month waiting period. However, since he didn't even pass the written (or computer) exam, I'd bet he's definitely going to need some assisted road time w/ the permit before he goes out on the road.

Unless of course you all like dealing with oblivious drivers. :smirk:

yea, no matter wut u have to put ur 6 months (or how ever many months ur state requires) in before u can get ur license

Ohhh I see, you need to take the written test for the permit anyway, there's just no waiting period, yeah that does make sense.

It's a different story on the road. I'm a damn good driver. Just those god damned questions I never sutdied.

The questions are just in pertinence to common road signs, situations and markings that you'll encounter on the road

And it's definitely part of being a decent driver

But I have no doubts you could competently control a vehicle in a large open field. :grin:
