yea, I've been looking around the internet and in books all over the place, and posted some forum posts to find out because i live in Saskatchewan too.. and there seems to be only the amanita muscaria that grows in Saskatchewan.. if you have any luck and end up finding some, because i have already been shroom hunting and only found one very small one, altho i wasn't completely sure it was the right kind because i didn't have a picture book with me (im a very visual person when it comes to understanding).. so yea, if you ever have any kind of luck, make sure you tell me and all the other Saskatchewanians if you found any. (no need to tell us where and when, just to let us know if we should keep looking or not...) Good Luck with the hunting

Messing around with amanitas is very dangerous. Not only does a. muscaria produce poisoning symptoms in a lot of cases and undesirable experiences (although there are those who get positive experiences) but a mistake in identification could lead to serious illness or death. I would suggest doing some serious study on the amanita genus.

If you end up finding some amanita muscaria start with a low dose...3-5 grams dried. If you think you will be able to handle a higher dose afterwards than eat about 10g, just make sure your in a safe enviorment and have a sober friend near by and you will be fine.
